Hello. Hello, friends. We're gonna start here in a couple of minutes. But we wanted to say hi. Welcome you here today. We've got a lot of folks already saying hi in the chat. Hello, everyone. Let us know where you're from. And what's a fun question we can ask, Kristen? Oh, goodness. How about what's your favorite thing about fall? Oh. Yeah. Let us know that. I'm trying to think of that for myself too. There's a lot. Pumpkin everything? I'm not actually a pumpkin spice latte girl. I'm not either. Wow. That's look at us being so different. Goodness. I do love, like, pumpkin bread and pumpkin pie. I love a good pumpkin muffin. Pumpkin muffins. Yes, Paul. I see you. Yes. Oh, see, me and Paul. Hundred spirits. Kimberly, yes. 90 degrees. That's what it is here in Tulsa too today. My channel's deceiving. It's very warm. Yes. It is hot in South Carolina today too. I want it to feel like fall. Yeah. Not quite. Not quite yet. I think for us, it's always Halloween. Like, literally on the 1st, it gets cold and rainy, and then we step into actual fall weather. So Yes. Next week. Lori knows what's up. She's had an extra hour of sleep before church on Sunday because of that fallback. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. This week was extra hard to wake up. It's just too dark out. Yeah. Yeah. It really is. It really is. Oh, good evening. My husband would agree. Oh, okay. Go again. Go again. Go again. What's your favorite thing, Kristen? Did you even say it? I think I was going on and on about pumpkin muffins or something. Okay. Okay. So both. Yeah. We we like alright. Well, it is 1 o'clock. So we're gonna go ahead and get started. Just a couple housekeeping things. You may be able to see that little bubble. Hopefully, you can see our screen. If you cannot, I'm not sure how to help you. We just let us know in the chat if you can't see our screen for any reason and we'll try to troubleshoot that with you, but hopefully you can. You'll notice a little bubble at the top right that says, say hello in the chat and then put questions in the q and a. So looking at that chat section, you'll see 2 tabs at the top. So q and a is there. We've got our sweet friend Gloria behind the scenes today answering your questions. We just found out that this is the highest attended webinar that we have seen ever here at Ministry Brands. So that's very exciting. Almost 500 people registered for this webinar. So Kristen and I are pumped to be with you today. Obviously, impact reports is something that people want to hear about. So hopefully, the information we bring to you today is helpful. But, yes, in the meantime, make sure that you're putting those questions in the q and a. That allows Gloria to answer them in the order that they come in. We'll be able to share kind of questions that allows Kristen and I to be able to see questions as they come in a little bit more easily as well. We're gonna answer most of your questions right there in the chat. So we probably will not have a live q and a session, during this webinar, just so you all know. We will have a poll and we will have a survey. So prepare your hearts for those. They're also going to appear, I believe, in the same section as the chat and q and a. So everything will kinda be over there. So without further ado, we're gonna go ahead and get started. And I'm driving this deck today, so let's make sure we're working. Okay. Today's webinar is about crafting a compelling church impact report. So we are going to cover, first, who we are. So, Kristen, go ahead. You go first. Yeah. So I'm Kristen Foster. I am a client success associate here at Ministry Brands, but I do get to focus on product adoption. So helping our folks really make the most out of the, products that they have with us. So that includes a lot of what we're going to talk about today, but it's really exciting that I get to still be ministry adjacent because I was in full time ministry for several years before being here at Ministry Brand. So what we're talking about today, really hits home. It gets me jazzed. I hope it gets you guys excited to kind of put these practices into effect, with Impact Reports. So, yeah, that's me. Awesome. Thank you. I was hoping you would speak to kinda your personal experience at church because I think that's important for anyone who's attending to know that, like, we aren't just software girlies. We are church ministry girls as well. And so knowing, kind of the inner workings of the church and how these tools can actually help impact the kingdom is in a it's very noteworthy. So, my name is Jessica Moore. I have been on a couple webinars with y'all before. I have been at Ministry Brands for about 5 years, almost 6 in February, and I live in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I've got a couple of kiddos. I'm married, some chickens. And similar to Kristen, we, we attend our church. We are involved with our church on the volunteering side and, leading small groups. And so this is something that I think, helps engagement with your church. Talking about impact reports specifically and these numbers and these metrics today, we're gonna be talking a lot about numbers. And so we really want you to hear the heart behind this conversation today. And so we you know, it's important for you to know that Kristen and I, have some experience in this realm on a personal level. So big picture, what we're gonna cover, what is an impact report, why do milestone metrics matter, and we Kristen actually challenged me on this. Metrics is what this deck said before. And Kirsten was like, metrics just feels very sterile. And I was like, you're right. Milestones are are what we're tracking. Right? And that's what matters. And so we've we've kinda plugged in that that, word milestone metrics. We'll see if maybe we switch it up and we call them M and M's throughout this presentation. The milestone metrics, what which ones matter, why do they matter, which ones matter, how you track them, and then how to customize your free template that you will get tomorrow in your follow-up email. So, working through all of that. Kristen, interrupt me at any point. Kind of flying here. Oh, yeah. Okay. So what's an impact report? And here's some screenshots of the impact report that you will get tomorrow. The one on the left there with the blue 2024, is gonna be kinda out of the box. What you will get, the template that you will get. And then the one in the forefront there with the Braun 2024 is an example of what a built out impact report can look like. So you'll have the option to plug in a photo, plug in your church logo if you want to. Definitely update the the message or letter there from your ministry leaders, and then plug in your numbers. But, what is it? The an impact report really truly should just encompass all of the lives that were impacted through your church over the last year. You can do impact reports quarterly if you want to. You can do them weekly if you want to. And some churches do and say, you know, we this many people were baptized last week or this many people gave their lives to Christ this week or whatever. So, but just it's a place for you to include, numbers to show the impact that your ministry and your church are having in your community and globally. Kirsten, I'll let you take this one. Yeah. So there are a couple key components of an impact report, but they're all serving the same purpose, which is to, celebrate. I think this is, you know, sometimes when we say the word numbers and metrics, like I like I mentioned to Jess when we were kind of thinking through this, it feels a little sterile. And so, something that Jess had said to me actually is that you challenged me when we were preparing for this is you're like, each of these numbers represents an individual. This is about a person. And so we're not just kind of pumping ourselves up. We're celebrating what God has done in the lives of our people. And so that's something worth celebrating. And so these kind of key components kind of elevate that point and point to that. So the first thing is spiritual impact. The biggest thing is spiritual impact. This is like a from new believers, baptisms, discipleship programs, but you can also include testimonies from your members. Sometimes I think we forget the power of testimony, no matter what it is. And so, just to encourage one another and to really celebrate with one another what God is doing, but also community engagement. So like a summary of maybe some charitable programs you guys are a part of, certain partnerships, volunteer efforts, maybe events that you've hosted for your community. This is also a great thing. Jess knows this is one of my, passions. This is a great way to highlight your volunteers as well, to celebrate your members, not just what, you know, we're doing for our community who may not be specifically involved in the church, but the people who are making that happen, to really, celebrate them and thank them, for what they do for, the church and for the kingdom. So shameless plug for volunteer appreciation there. And also a financial overview. Okay? So sometimes talking about money can be weird. That's okay. But transparency around the funds that you've raised, donation allocation, new resources that are invested in, you know, the work that you're doing, and community initiatives, these are all really important things that, when you let your people in and kinda show the impact that it's having, on your ministry and on your community. You're inviting them into something really exciting, and it'll and it makes, you know, feel more apart. And so transparency with financials is is really important. And then finally, goals and vision. So we're gonna look back at where we've been, especially so we're coming up on the end of the year here soon. I can't believe the year is almost gone. That's crazy in itself. But reflecting on the past year, what has God done? And then looking toward what you want to do in the future. Focusing on your mission, on your ministry's progress towards those goals that you set for yourself at the beginning of the year. Or maybe it's quarterly goals, weekly, like Jess said. So making sure we're looking back but also looking forward, and casting that vision too. Yeah. Yeah. That's so good. I think and we'll talk a little bit more about that. But, you know, I I actually don't know if anybody that's on here attended the Healthy Church Summit, but we had a breakout session, with actually, pastor Solomon is one of our our clients, but he's also one of our dear friends here at Ministry Brands. And he hosted a session that was specifically about this, and, you know, metrics that matter basically is is I think, was the title of his breakout session. But I watched it again recently just to jog my memory. And, he kinda kicked off his session with, you know, how why why is it recorded in the bible, that 1,000 people were fed, right? And, that 2,000 were added to the kingdom that day. And, it it matters because those numbers give us perspective. And so I think that perspective will either catapult you, towards a reality check, right, which is important, or they will catapult you towards, you know, continued growth and engagement, and just challenging you to continue to to change and pivot and adjust, to continue to grow. So it is important to God that we are tracking these things because he tracked things, Jesus tracked things in the Bible. So, and his disciples, obviously, writing scriptures. So, it is I think that that was a really good takeaway from Pastor Solomon's message, and I I think it's important for us to kinda remember too. Okay. My computer doesn't wanna okay. Here we go. We've got a quick poll for y'all. So Kristen's gonna fire that off. It's going to appear again within that panel. So you should just have seen a little red dot. So if y'all could jump in there and let us know, are you tracking these numbers? Do you have a software solution that you're tracking to? And this is just to kinda give Kristen and I a pulse on, where we need to encourage you or, you know, just gives us some perspective on on who we're talking to here today. So those those votes are rolling in real quick. Thank you guys. Yeah. Who do you guys get? Yes. We've got a couple people saying that they're not sure, and that's one thing that we run into when we have these ours is we are speaking to people that have all different roles at the church. And so you may not know, and that's totally fine too. No judgment here. But if you know or if you're in that role that that we're tracking to metrics, yeah, let us know because that's super helpful. But, yeah, it looks like we're kinda right split right down the middle. Okay. We'll give that another 30 seconds. Mhmm. And we close it out. Okay. Great. Well, we are we are a 29 yes. Oop, 30. A 30 yes and 22 no. So, yeah, Kristen, like you said, we're kinda split right down the middle. That's important for us to know. We'll go ahead and close out that poll. That's important for us to know because as we're working through this webinar, we'll be able to take this away as a either, I'm just now realizing how important it is to have somewhere to track these numbers, and I would like to find out a little bit more about my options here at Ministry Brands. Or you are tracking to these things and hopefully will inspire you with some ideas on what else you should be tracking. If you have something that you're tracking that you're not seeing on our screen, please put it in the chat. We'd love to get more in. The beauty with those templates that you'll see at the end is you can customize what's in there. So we've got 3 different versions. We've got one with 4 metrics, one with, 8, and one with 12. So if you just all you know this year is that you've tracked generosity and how many salvations you've had, then you just adjust that template and that's, you know, worth celebrating anyway. If you lots of things that you're tracking to, you'll be able to use the bigger one. But this is very helpful for us to know. So thank you for participating in that. So we're gonna talk about really quick why these metrics matter. Right? Is that what yeah. We're looking at why these metrics matter. And there's three reasons that we feel that these metrics matter. One is strategic alignment for your leadership. So within your leadership, within the church, this helps your leadership to be aligned in where you're going. What is your goal and what is your purpose, your mission at your church, and are your metrics reflecting successful growth towards that goal? So I use my church as an example because they've got a real simple basic mission. It's introducing people to the real Jesus. And so, when my church leaders are looking at their metrics, do metrics reflect growth in introducing people to the real Jesus in different aspects? So, are we aligned with our mission? Excuse me. Where have we grown, and where can we improve? Right? So that allows you guys to sit down with actual data and say, this is working. This is not. Where do we need to pivot going into next year? So strategic alignment for your leadership is reason number 1. Reason number 2 is tailored engagement for your members. So this is one of the benefits of utilizing a church management software. Or in in the case of Amplify, you've got kind of a a a bigger picture because it's a holistic, tool. But you're able to track to these things, and Kristen will walk us through some workflows and, ways that you can pull these metrics and report on these metrics. But you'll be able to get a, maybe a zoomed in view of one of your congregants or members' spiritual journey. And so that allows you to really speak to each of your members in a tailored way. And one example that I like to use is for generosity. You have noticed that someone who's been giving to your church for 2 years has suddenly stopped. Okay? Why does that matter? Which you can set up some, indicators within your system. They'll say, hey. This person stopped giving. Alert. Somebody reach out. And that's not to circle back and say, hey. We miss your giving. What happened? It's because a lot of times that's an indicator of something else going on behind the scenes. Did someone lose a job? Did someone suddenly get into, medical debt or crisis situation? Did someone recently get divorced or someone passed away? Like, these are indicators that, in their spiritual journey, there's been a wrinkle. It may just be that they are going to a different church, and that's okay too. But having metrics and understanding kind of, how these tools work and the spiritual journey that you're fostering your people through. These metrics help you the the data that you're seeing within the platform allows you to kinda tailor your engagement and your your pastoring and your shepherding of your people. Okay. And then clear direction for your ministry. So as a whole, again, let's celebrate, like Kristen said, what the Lord has done, what the Lord is currently doing, and build excitement for what God is going to do. So leadership is now aligned. You can tailor your tracking metrics and your engagement to your individual members, and then holistically, as an organization, take all of that information and say, look what God's done, look what God is doing, and look where we're going in the coming months. And and you can always adjust kinda your metric measurements, according to that. So those are the 3 big reasons. There's lots of reasons, that you should be kinda tracking these metrics, but those are the big three that I think encompass everything. Kristen, do you have anything to add on that? No. I think that's so good. And I think, you know, it's easy to focus on what we did, what we did, what we did. But this third point really just points to where we're going and how we're gonna continue, because, you know, ministry doesn't just stop once we pull the numbers. So I really love that at the end of it all, we're looking forward. So Okay. I'm gonna, really quickly touch on oh, no. Kristen, you're gonna you're gonna touch on this one. So which milestones we should be tracking? Yeah. Absolutely. So we have some kind of out of the box, if you will, things that our system automatically tracks, but then we have ways that you can kinda customize our system, to track it. But these are some things, some examples of all of the, milestones that you might want to track. Now there could be very many more, and like we said, we want you to put those in the chat if you don't see it listed here. I love learning. Jess loves learning. We wanna learn. But things with a spiritual impact like salvation, baptisms, 1st time givers. We are interested in, you know, community engagement, so service attendance, online attendance, 1st time visitors, children's check-in, volunteers, community events and mission trips. But then also that financial overview piece. So you can look at total generosity as a whole, recurring gift schedules. How many people have automated recurring gifts set up so that they can give faithfully even in that, summer slump like we hear about all the time? And then global financial impact. How much are we giving toward missions, or are how many missionaries are we able to sponsor, this year? Things of that nature. So those are just some of the things. Those are a lot of things, but those are just some examples of what we can, what we can track and what we can celebrate together. So just, a reminder too that, like, every number that we tie to you know, that we put in this impact report is tied to a real person on a real journey of faith. And, I really love that sentiment because it brings us back to the why. We're doing all of this instead of just, you know, pumping ourselves up and looking really good. Like, we got these big numbers to to bring to you guys and bring to your, congregations, and that's all wonderful and worth celebrating, but the real person on a real journey of faith that those individuals are representing. And so that's all to the glory of God. So just a sweet reminder, there. But, do you have anything else, Jess, before I get into the how we work with you? I do. So, Michael, you mentioned church safety incidents or facility faculty faculty in accidents. That was really say. Yes. You should be tracking those things. The reason they are not on this list is because we're looking is that we're celebrating in this particular webinar. But if you're not already tracking those things, we do have an option for protection module. It's a great place for you to document that stuff. It is important for sure. And then, Cheryl, I have no idea how small groups missed this list because it was it's on my list. I think I just forgot to put it in here. Right? We don't see but yes. I I talk about tracking small groups in a bit, so I got you, girl. We're gonna tell you how to so then Angela's like, I'd love how to learn how to do this. Well, that's exactly what we're gonna show you. Kristen's gonna show you this right now. So, yes. And Michael volunteers for sure. So thank you guys for plugging those in. Appreciate you so much. Kristen, tell us how to do these things. Yeah. So we're gonna go ahead and break this up into sections, talk more a little bit about attendance first, how you can track and report those things. So first things first. In our, people module of our Amplify platform, this all in one, ministry solution. Right? This is where you track your, your people, which is why it's called the people module. To track attendance, it's super easy from our attendance module. So you can just add a new session, and there are 2 ways that you can track attendance with Amplify people. You can the first option is really helpful for, your counters on Sunday morning. Alright? So we've got a large group session, and we know we have those couple of people taking a section, and they're always in the back. Every time I would look back as a kid, I would always see that guy or that gal that was just doing this in the back counting. You can do large group attendance just like that. But on a more granular level within small groups, for example, or Sunday school classes, and especially children's Sunday school or kids classes, you can mark exactly who attended and who wasn't attended, so that you can know who to follow-up with and all of that good stuff, which we'll get to, about you how you can kind of automate some of those processes here later. But there are 2, you know, those 2 ways. The broad scope, more like on a Sunday morning or a prayer night where you just want a a large group number, and then, you know, individual attendance as well. So on the next slide, we'll talk about more along the lines of reporting. And so before we move on. And I wanna mention real quick that, on the content that we're going over today is applicable to Amplify People. I think we probably have some attendees that have our standalone CHMS products. And so a lot of this will be similar in those platforms. And so as we're going through this, and here's the other thing too is you may not use one of our solutions, and that's fine. These are kind of like best practice high level. Kristen's gonna dive into how our platforms work. To to kinda give you an idea, if you are one of the 24 no's, this is this is some ideas on how our platform will will help you collect that data. But yes. So it should be applicable to a lot of CHMS's do have option to track attendance. There may be some things that are really specific to our platform. But again, as we're working through this and you're like, well, I don't have that platform. Just back out of that a little bit and say, okay. How can I just how could I do that at my church? And if that's you being a counter, then maybe consider a software solution if you don't already have 1. But, otherwise, you should be able to to implement these processes using either one of our solutions or another solution preferably. I get really excited and jazzed about, to talk about this kind of stuff, so I just kinda barrel on through. So it's not me anytime. Yeah. So ways you can report attendance too through our platform, through our attendance reporting feature, you can do kind of a total attendance view, but you can also kind of do reporting by session. So you wanna know how many people attended this particular group or how many people attended, you know, Sunday morning worship. You can pull those kinds of attendance reports too, without problem. So as we move on, I wanna talk about, some things to take note of as you take attendance in your ministry. So, something really important is the ability to mark people as visitors as you're taking attendance to make sure that we log those first time visitors. And so with our platform, you can add a new individual. My husband doesn't know this, but I volunteered him as the example that's on the screen here today. So Kyle Foster, let's say he's a newbie to our church, and, you can mark them as a visitor. But also, in reporting on that, you can go to our individuals tab, and we have a special place for visitors. Now at any point in time, you can change the status of that individual and make them a member, so they don't have to live, a visitor forever and ever. Amen. But, this is just one way where we really wanna make sure that you have eyes on those first time guests so that nobody falls through the cracks. So that's something that's super important in ministry. As you know, we wanna make sure we get to interact with those folks and get to know them so that they feel apart. Now Chris, I'm I'm I'm gonna ask you a question really quick, and I may be jumping ahead. But do you talk about forms to capture new people? Girl, that's my next slide. Okay. Okay. Oh, wait. I gotta why is it barking at me? K. Sorry. Yeah. So Actually, if we'll go to the next slide. Okay. Oh, no. Previous. We're we skipped ahead. Sorry. Okay. You're good. You're good. So you can actually utilize a feature that we have in, our people or CHMS platforms called workflows. Workflows are these automated systems and processes that you can set up to make sure, like I said, that nobody falls through the cracks. So, like you mentioned, for example, you could create a new visitor form or a connect card. And you could say if somebody fills out the form and checks that they're a visitor or even if they just fill out the form, period. You could make sure that, it could trigger, you know, somebody on your staff to be notified so that they reach out. It could also put them in a first time visitor group so that you can see after 1 Sunday who filled out the form and, kinda have all of these people in one group so that you can, kind of strategize on how you want your team to split up and reach out to those folks. Another way that you can utilize groups, and automate people to be kind of put into groups is through attendance. So kind of bridging the gap between attendance and groups here. Groups are just, you know, you can have as many groups as you want. You can have groups for small groups. You have a group of volunteers. You could have a group of, like I mentioned, first time guests. So as you check, or add somebody that they're here in attendance and they check visitor, it could automatically put them in a first time group as well. So that when you go back to a report, you've got all your people, all your first time guest folks in one place. So we do have a really robust form folder within, both our people and giving platforms, even our web platform. And so it doesn't stop at just a connection card. You can build any type of form you can dream up. We'll talk about, event registration forms here in a bit too, that you can use to kind of highlight and get folks to sign up for events in your area. But I'm getting ahead of myself, so I will slow my roll. So, essentially, there are ways that you other ways that you can add people to groups as well. You can manually add individuals to groups as needed. So you don't have to set up fancy schmancy workflows even though they're super simple and easy. You can also manually do that as well. So as far as reporting groups then, you can report by a particular a single group or class to know who was in that specifically. Or if you want a milestone metric to know, how many total people do we have in small groups this year. You could search, as long as you have a similar naming convention for all of your groups. You could search small group if that's a word or a phrase that's in all of your group names, and then you could see all of the groups and then a total at the bottom of how many people are in those. So just a couple of ways to kind of grab that information, and that's not just applicable to small groups specifically, just an example, but just a couple of different ways you could go about that. Now the calendar. Events. We love events. For my last year in full time ministry, I was actually a ministry events coordinator, and so I I love all the things. Love community outreach. Love the internal, discipleship. Love it. Love it. So you can easily add events to your calendar here, and you can share that calendar, with your congregation so they can see what's going on in the life of your church, of your ministry. But after you add it, you can actually, at the end of the year, you can report and download an event readout for a particular date range. So, you know, the first through 31st, if you will, of December. And, so you can kind of see a whole of the events that you had. So let's say you wanna know how many, community outreach events that you did this year. You can pull that readout, see how many you did. Easy peasy. So that's just one way to kinda streamline your processes too so that kind of you're reporting all in one place so things aren't kinda scattered. Mhmm. So, also, with our form builder, I got excited and talked about this earlier. But in creating forms, you can create event registration forms and check, categorize it as such so that it, you know, remembers. That's what it's for. But you can also it enables features like setting a start date and an end date, a start time, end time, but you can also enable ticketing. And what that does is as people submit the form and they register, they'll be sent a QR code, and then you have the ability to scan that QR code in. So you can know exactly how many people registered, but also you can report on how many people actually showed up. And so, that is super helpful when you're kind of looking at who who came and hung out with us this year. So a couple of different ways that you can look at your form responses. You can, actually download the form responses to see, you know, total it out in a CSV or Excel spreadsheet to see how many people attended. But you can also, kinda look at each field set that you set there. So you wanna look at, you know, how many people came to this event that are new to church. They I'm new. How many people came to this event that checked that they would like to learn more about how they can get involved in, childcare. You know, you can kind of get very granular and specific with what field sets you add to your forms and then download those responses. You can also look at the, analysis tab, to kinda get an overview, in your form responses as well. Sorry. I didn't that one. Oh, no. You're good. I'm geeking out, so really I do need to move on. But, there are just lots of ways you can use forms, to form your milestone metrics. Alright. So with people's pro individuals' profiles in the people module, we have some baked in things or fields that you can enter like baptism date. And then you can pull a report later on all of the baptism dates that are within the past year. But you can also add, if you wanna go to the next slide, we can add individual milestone metrics that you would like to keep track of per individual so that you can report on them later. So, like, salvation is this one here as an example that you can add. So you can add a salvation date so that when you look back, you can report on that and celebrate together what CAD is doing. There are plenty of other examples. The possibilities are endless there because it's all customizable by you. Yeah. I'm gonna jump in really quick and address one quick comment. Alan, you asked if most of this does not apply to our old software. A lot of this stuff does apply to, versions of our CHMS that have been around for a long time. These are fairly basic, features that have been around for a while. So if you're not seeing these, if you would, please just let us know in the chat and and Gloria will help you out. Yeah. So you you should be able to see this stuff. Or if you need some more assistance, let let us know and and we'll get you pointed in the right direction. I wanted to see if there was any other questions, they're all so a lot of your questions are real specific to, like, the how to. And so as much as Kristen and I would love to dive into all of that during this webinar, the idea here is to really kinda keep this high level of what is possible. But Gloria, did some homework beforehand, and she's got some articles ready to go to be able to point you in the right direction to actually accomplish these things within the platform. And then from there, if you need further assistance within the the help center, you should be able to chat our support team, and potentially even get a call set up if you need one. So, we're we've got a little bit of a rabbit trail that we're bringing you along on. This is really like, here's what you can do, and then Gloria can help with, here's how you can do it. And if you need additional help, please utilize the the chat feature in support just to raise your hand and say, hey. I need some help from somebody. So, and, again, we are recording this, and you will receive the recording tomorrow. And so we are moving kind of quickly. Feel free to rewatch, pause, take the the time to say, okay. I wanna track baptisms and then head on over to, the help center and, and and look up whatever you need in there as well. So thank you for your patience. Gloria is getting to you all as quickly as she possibly can. But yes. Okay. Moving on. Also, Chris, I totally should've let you drive this deck because I'm learning and I'm like, oh, wow. Yes. And I'm forgetting to turn the slide. So just holler. That's okay. That's okay. Teamwork makes the dream work. We can go to the next slide for sure. Okay. Alright. So you can run, advanced searches to find all of this. I kind of already touched on this, but, so you can kind of set any number of filters using our advanced search option to find, all of the data points that you that were either baked in or that you added specifically. So this is just kinda showing you a snapshot of how a few filters that you could use in order to get that information. Alright. So giving. Yay. One of mine and Jess's favorite things. You can easily, with our giving reporting, in the giving detail, you can report by date range, so, like, total giving, but you can also do get a little bit more granule, granular, and you can search by giving category or fund. And so, you can look at specific missions funds, but, like, so this is how much money we were able to give toward missions this year. If you have a food pantry and people are donating funds toward the food pantry, you could, you know, have a specific category or fund, set set up for that so that you could report, on that at the end of the year as well and easily download a CSV. Or, in the bottom right corner, usually, we have a summary of how many guests there are as well, but downloading that will give you the number. So, yeah, I think go ahead. I was gonna say before we move on, this kinda circles back to one of our reasons why you should track metrics, and that's engage or tailored engagement for your congregants. So, I know one of the workflows that is used as an example often is, like, the first time givers or so this is this is merging some systems together. Right? So integrations are fantastic. They help you be more efficient. And so this is a giving and a people integration piece. Once someone gives over here in giving, that information pushes over to our people module. And then in the people module, you can set up some interactions or workflows similarly to whatever slide it was. I'm not gonna go back that many. But when Kristen was talking about that form, when people submit, like, a new member form and then there's put into a workflow where they're being nurtured like, hey, we're so glad you came. Here's a coffee on us, and then taking them through that journey. Similarly with giving, it's an act of worship. It should not be taken lightly. It should not be ignored. Excuse me. So lean into the capability of not only customizing your thank you receipt. That's doable within the giving, you know, platform. But then the integration with people allows you to take that 2, 3, 4, 5 steps further in saying, hey. Anytime someone gives a $1,000 gift or more, set up an interaction for pastor so and so to pick up the phone and say, that's an incredibly generous gift. This means so much to our church. Right? It allows you to pastor and shepherd your people effortlessly. It's like set it and forget it. So, just wanna highlight the capability there too. Like, yes, track it. Yes, report it. But then take action on that, not just for an impact report, but, like, when you're pastoring your people that that those metrics tell a story. Right? And data is power. So as you're consuming this stuff, don't just let it sit in a reservoir until we can put together a pretty impact report. No. Take action on it utilizing those workflows and, those, interactions. I'm sorry. Impact report. I'm gonna actually talk really quick. Okay. So we can do an impact report annually. You can do it weekly. You can do it whenever you feel the holy spirit telling you to. But Kristen and I wanted to take a minute to remind you that this function is in your giving platform. You can set up something called an impact report. I know that's kinda confusing, but this in this case, we're talking about a fund impact report. So, within your giving platform, and Kristen will explain how here in just a second, but essentially, you can turn this feature on to a specific fund or all of your funds. And what it does is it puts a little extra button on your form that people can click to find out more about the, fund. So for example, in this first picture, the fund is general fund. Okay? And on the form, it doesn't show it in this picture, but there's like a little tab. If the impact report was closed, it was like this it looks like a little slide out tab, like a file folder. And they can click on that, and what it does is it you as the communicator at your church, media person, pastor, finance adviser, whoever you are creating this. You can add an image. You can add some text. You can add a link. You can add those little pie graphs at the bottom. I mean, they're they're icons, they're not pie graphs, but they've got the percentage. Like, literally, what is this gift for? So the other example there is, the clear Clean Water Fund. So this is maybe an organization that your that your church partners with, a nonprofit or somebody was asking about nonprofit in in the, q and a. This is definitely applicable to you. Right? So as they're looking through which fund they'd like to give to, you can create these individual, impact reports, that just talk about that specific fund. So, also, if you wanted to at the end of the year or for the next 6 months after you create your beautiful impact report, how's that somewhere on your website, your giving page, hopefully. Right? You show it up on there so people can see what their gifts have done this year. And you can link to it from this impact report. To see our full impact, click here. That takes them to the full impact report that you are gonna customize and share on your website. So lots of options here. Again, this particular feature is limited to our giving platform. But if you aren't already taking advantage of it, hopefully, this is a little nudge in the right direction to say, oh, I didn't even know that was there. So Kristen's gonna show us how to do that if I can. Absolutely. And I'm I'm gonna go pretty quickly, but there's, you know, 2 steps essentially. So you're gonna set it up on the fund level. So which specific funds you want this to populate for. You can have different impact reports for different funds. So let's say you have a specific giving form for where people can select which missionary they want to give to. Each missionary's fund can have their own impact report so they can share their story on what they're doing, what this person's doing in Asia, what this person's doing in the northeast, what this person's doing in Europe. So, that we can celebrate, what God is doing, as soon as people give so that we can kind of inform the why. Now then you enable it on the form that you want so that its impact reports aren't just popping up willy nilly. Okay? So we are going to enable it on the form that we want here, and then you can add a message of sorts. You could add a message from your leadership, especially when it comes to I saw that note about, speaking to nonprofits as well. This is a really great feature that could be used for that, where you can kind of break down where people's money is going to, what you are able to accomplish this year, who are you able to serve, and really, get behind get people behind the why of what you're doing. It encourages them to give more, because it gets us excited because we're celebrating together, and it invites them into this. So on the next slide, I believe I have a QR code. If you have our giving platform, you can scan that QR code to learn more about how you can do this for yourself. Mhmm. I just flew through, I but you can scan that for some step by step instructions. We even in our help center have examples for how you could or templates even for, you know, having a letter from your pastor in there. And we also have, how do you use this with a progress bar? How do you do this with the, you know, little divider color circles with percentages? There's a better way to say that, but I it it it is lost on me. So little color circles with the percentages is what you're getting today, folks. But, so, yeah, check out our help center. Even if you don't have it, you, check it out. It's pretty cool. Yeah. Thank you so much, Kristen. Yeah. We kind of flew through that. Kristen and I are chatty, Kathy. So, lot to lot to get in today. Okay. So let's let's jump to this, free template that you guys will get. And, we've got a sweet member of our marketing team. Her name is Darcy. She is lovely and she helped us build this template for you. So again, every part of this is customizable. You will receive the link to the page on the left in your email tomorrow. Okay? And then on this landing page, it'll give you a little bit more direction, not instructions. It's just gonna remind you what this is for because we're all gonna sleep tonight and then we're gonna wake up tomorrow and be like, wait. What? And so, it's gonna remind you why we should do this. Okay? And then once you click on the get started, it's going to take you into a platform called Canva. Now this is not necessarily one of our tools. This is just a tool that we felt like most of you will have access to. So we try we tried is a tool that is very easy to use, number 1. Number 2, that everybody has access to. So, please, lean into that. The other part about this that I think I want to remind you of is that we really would love to see Darcy would really love to see how you guys use these impact reports. And so please email them back to us. There's an email address that you can send that to in your email tomorrow. It'll say send it here. And so, we would love to see those. Again, you can customize everything from the name of it at the top, the year, if you wanted to use it next year again. Every text section, you can delete a whole box. Like, if you only want 3 boxes, might look a little weird, but you can delete a box if you don't want it there or you can change the names of the milestone metrics that are in there. So you really have full power. You can add an image. So knock yourselves out. If you are struggling with those, Canva actually has a very robust chat feature that will give you step by step instructions. And so if you're like, I want to change the picture, you can I literally tested it yesterday, and it'll give you step 1, step 2, step 3, like, right there, and it'll walk you through it? Worst case, if you are not able to figure it out, holler at us, and we'll we'll do our best to help you. But I think you should be should be able to use this very easily. So, you can be looking forward to that email. I'm gonna quickly glance before we launch the survey, I'm gonna quickly glance at the questions Mhmm. And see if there are a few things that we can answer to, that will impact be helpful for everybody. Can the report have more than one fund included? Rachel, that's a that is a good question. And the answer is technically no. But here's what you can do is you can repeat the impact report. So when you click on general fund and you create the impact report for that one and you love it and you say, we just wanna use this for every fund, then you essentially would just copy and paste the information on the impact report for any other fund that you have. So, you can't attach multiple funds to one impact report, but you can create you can just repurpose the impact report for multiple funds. What platform are you using showing us? Lisa, we did include little little bubbles on there, and some of our products look similarly kinda under the hood, have similar features. So I think Gloria was able to answer your question specifically, but the the two main platforms that we looked at today were the people platform and the giving platform. So for some of y'all that might be Amplify Giving, for others, you may have another another giving platform that is in the Ministry of Brands family. But, yeah, those are the 2 that we looked at today. Kristen, are you seeing any other ones that we should Yeah. The last one, Evan, how does one send an alert based on the giving pattern for a specific donor in Perishaw seed? So our, Perishaw seed family suite, might might work a little bit differently than our, Amplify people platform. So their help center let me actually I was actually trying to find that for you, Evan. If I don't find it before the end of the end of the webinar, we can email it to you later. But, yeah. So Parasoft Family Suite, I know there are a couple of questions about how this relates. It does work a little bit differently than, Amplify people, but the concept still applies. So you can still track these things. The how to and the where to get it might look a little bit differently. But the things that we want you to take away from this today especially is, 1, get excited. We're ready to celebrate with you. But 2, you know, just getting some ideas of what you can include in this impact report, and how, this can be beneficial for your folks, whether you're, you know, serving a congregation or you're serving your community as a nonprofit. Yeah. And for those of you that are joining us that are not already part of the Ministry Brands family, Parashoft is a suite of technology that is specific to our Catholic churches. So it is it is created differently on purpose, because of the the diocesan to parish model versus churches that those worlds are a little bit different. And so we do have tailored solutions based on those. So, good call out, Kristen. Yes. The capability is still there. It's not gonna look exactly the same because those platforms are intentionally different. They're tailored to those different, organization. So we're gonna go ahead and go into this quick survey and, Chris and her if you're still working, I can launch that survey. I am launching it. Okay. Awesome. So that survey should appear on the far right of your screen, I believe. I don't think it's showing for us because they don't wanna hear what we have to say about ourselves. But if you could take a few minutes to answer those questions, that helps us tailor our follow-up to you. How are we going to follow-up with you moving forward? And then additionally, the reason that this webinar had such high attendance is because we asked you what you wanted to talk about. Fancy that. And look how many of you all joined us today. So, we are so thankful that you're here, and this feedback is tremendous. We actually look at every single answer I do, because I get to spin up these webinars and I wanna know what you guys wanna talk about. So our next webinar in November is going to be talking about converting your first time visitors into faithful members. We've got that registration live, so be looking in your, email inbox for those invitations coming soon. But yeah. So know that that one's coming. But, otherwise, all ideas are on the table. We wanna hear from you. And, yeah, we'll just take a couple more minutes on that survey. And then we can't see the responses on this until the very end of the webinar. So, Rachel, I see your comment there. I'd like to I'd like info on how to set up metric, those who've stopped attending by way of donation stop. We don't take attendance. Yeah. Actually okay. That's a great point. So what other indicators can you track to figure out when members are no longer attending? Really important. Yeah. Rachel, we're hope we'll get some resources to you. We may I don't know. It's a little bit too late. Our this platform doesn't allow me to make a whole lot of changes on the email that's going to you tomorrow. But like I mentioned, there is an email address that will be in that email. And if we didn't get to your question today or you're still confused, you're feel free to email me back. It's coming it's coming to me, my inbox. So feel free to email me back, and and we'll we'll get you taken care of. But, okay. We're gonna go ahead and close out that survey. Hopefully, everyone has a couple minutes to give us some feedback. And then, otherwise, that is all the information we had for you guys today. We look forward to seeing your impact reports. We are wanting to celebrate with you. This seeing these, numbers and the lives impacted by the work that your church nonprofit, parish, diocesan is doing diocesan? Dias diocese. I was like, diocesan is multiple that, that you guys are doing. This is why Kristen and I and Gloria continue to come to work every day is because we know that what we do here at Ministry Presents really does matter and has kingdom impact. And so, we wanna celebrate that with you. Please give us some wind in our sails and allow us to celebrate with you. But that's it. That's all we've got. So thanks for coming. Kristen, you wanna say bye just to leave? Yeah. Sorry. I was still researching for you, Evan. But, yes, thank you guys for coming. This is always really fun, and, we're glad that we got to hang out with you guys for a little bit. Awesome. Thank you, friends. Talk to you later. Bye.
